AI adoption in HR is accelerating, but most organisations are still struggling to move from isolated use cases to enterprise-scale transformation. The study suggests that 78% of HR leaders are evaluating adoption in HR functional areas through the lens of short-term measurability and not long-term value creation. It also suggests that HR tech maturity keeps resetting every year, driven by evolving AI-led tech, emerging AI-native solutions, and HR leaders’ demand for them.
SHRPA India insights show that fewer than 30% of employees are considered AI-ready, leaving HR leaders with an array of challenges -- alignment of leadership on AI strategy, building the required workforce AI readiness, having a strong data and infra foundation, defining the right ownership, navigating the HR tech market forces, and having the right HR operating structure to propel the AI investments. HR leaders also have to justify their investments through an objective lens to the leadership, which forms the final bridge to cross for AI transformation success.
This webinar will examine how organisations can move beyond short-term efficiency gains by strengthening six critical dimensions of AI maturity: strategic clarity, transformation ownership, technology strategy, data readiness, workforce AI readiness and HR operating model reinvention. Drawing on India-specific SHRPA insights, the webinar will offer HR and business leaders a practical framework to prioritise investments, measure the value of transformation, and build the foundations for sustained AI impact.
